Entry Requirements

1. SSSCE Applicants Must have credit passes (A-D) in three (3) Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), and credit passes in three (3) elective subjects (Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Elective Mathematics).
2. WASSCE Applicants
   Must have credit passes (A1-C6) in three (3) Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), and credit passes in three (3) elective subjects (Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Elective Mathematics).
3. GCE “O” and “A” Level with credits in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.  In addition, applicants must possess at least two (2) “A” Level passes in chemistry, biology and physics.
4. HND and Diploma Applicants Higher National Diploma (HND) in Dispensing Technology.  Applicants in this category will enter the programme at year three. Applicants should have completed the HND with at least Second-Class Lower Division. Applicants may be called for an interview and or entrance examination. 
5. DT Final Part III Certificate in Dispensing Technician. Applicants in this category will enter the programme at year two and must have at least three years post qualification work experience. Applicants may be called for an interview and or entrance examination.
6. Mature Applicants: Must be 25 years old with legitimate documentary proof which is at least five (5) years old at the time of application, must pass Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations conducted by KsTU, may have to attend and pass an interview. Evidence of working experience will be an added advantage
7. Foreign Applicants: Academic records of foreign applicants will be referred to GTEC for the determination of qualification equivalence and eligibility for admission as well as placement
